No. FabriCAD runs entirely in your browser - files are read and parsed locally and never leave your device.

What file formats does FabriCAD support?

HPGL (.plt/.hpgl) and AAMA/ASTM DXF with full geometry support, plus an experimental structural inspector for Lectra Modaris/Diamino files (.mdl/.vet/.iba).

What is marker efficiency?

Marker efficiency (rendement matiere) is the percentage of fabric actually used by pattern pieces versus the total marker area - higher efficiency means less fabric waste.

Can I calculate how much fabric I need for an order?

Yes. The built-in Fabric Requirement Planner converts between garment quantities, fabric length, and weight using GSM and laize (fabric width).

Does FabriCAD work offline?

Yes. Once loaded, FabriCAD is installable as a Progressive Web App and works without an internet connection.

Is FabriCAD available in French?

Yes. The interface can be switched between English and French, including proper industry terminology (grammage, laize, rendement matiere).
